Pryor was delighted to be able to support the Big Bang Yorkshire and Humber event in June. Designed to excite school age children about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), the event brought together a wide range of workshops, exhibits and activities aimed at inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in STEM.
Pryor gave students the opportunity to learn about the use of barcodes in manufacturing to identify products and control manufacturing processes, as well as demonstrating laser marking to identify products. Students who visited us were also able to use a Pryor laser marking machine to mark their names on a pen to take home with them.
A busy and highly successful event saw us meet over 500 students and share some of our enthusiasm for manufacturing in the UK.
