Inspirational Women of Sheffield Award
Congratulations to Mary Stickland for winning the Inspirational Women of Sheffield, Pam Liverisdge OBE Award For Engineering!
Organised by the Sheffield Star, the Inspirational Women of Sheffield Awards search out and celebrate the great women that we have working in our home city of Sheffield. Awards are split by business sector and we are very proud that Mary won the award for Engineering. Mary joined Pryor as an apprentice in 2018 and is now a key member of our engineering team currently focusing on the assembly of our laser marking machines as well as other internal responsibilities. Mary was presented with the award by Pam Liversidge herself and had these words to say about the award:
“Very honoured to have been nominated and then winning the Pam Liversidge OBE Award for Engineering. For any women out there considering entering a male dominated industry, you can do it.”
