Apprentices at Pryor

Pryor has a long and proud history of apprenticeships. The company was founded when Edward Pryor started his apprenticeship in 1849.

Current Pryor Mechatronics Maintenance apprentice Mary Stickland celebrated winning the first Siddall Achievement Award, a brand new Apprentice of the Year award, at the Advanced Manufacturing and Research Centre (AMRC) Apprentice of the Year Awards in March 2019.

Since winning the award, Mary has featured in television interviews with the BBC and been interviewed by the AMRC to help capture the essence of modern apprenticeships.
