35 Years at Pryor for Craig Holmes

Congratulations to Craig Holmes who has been with us here at Pryor for an amazing 35 Years this month. We sat down with Craig and asked him a few questions about his time here at Pryor.

What’s your role in the company?

Production Manager

What was your first job role within Manufacturing?

I was set on as a cylindrical grinder.

How did you find these last years in Pryor?

Very challenging the last few years getting back on track after covid and slight adjustments to our structure within departments.

What do you enjoy the most about working in manufacturing/Engineering?

I have always been interested in engineering from being at school and to put in place practices to achieve goals is very satisfying.

Do you have any hobbies outside work?

Hobbies are now nonexistent as there is enough DIY around the house to keep me busy.

If you had to give one piece of advice to people seeking jobs in manufacturing, what would it be?

Self-motivation and dedication within the sector are key to keeping manufacturing strong within the UK.
